Cracked or broken screen
Glass, LCD or OLED replacement. Touch, colour and brightness tested before you get it back.
Battery dies fast
New battery, health reset to 100%. Best fix for a phone that shuts off at 30%.
Will not charge
Charge port cleaning or replacement. Loose cable, only charges at an angle, dead on the charger.
Cracked back glass
Back panel replacement, including wireless charging coil check.
Rear camera broken or blurry
Cracked camera lens, blurry photos, or a camera that will not focus.
Front camera / face unlock
Selfie camera, proximity sensor and face unlock problems.
No sound / muffled calls
Earpiece, loudspeaker and microphone repair.
Water or liquid damage
Full teardown, ultrasonic clean and board inspection. The fee below is the diagnosis, and it comes off the repair if you go ahead.
HDMI port - no picture
No signal on the TV, or the picture only works if you wiggle the cable. Usually a broken HDMI port.
Will not turn on
Dead, clicking, or turns on and straight back off. Power supply, board or short.
Disc drive problems
Will not take a disc, spits it out, grinding noise, or does not read games.
Overheating or loud fan
Shutting down mid-game, jet-engine fan. Full strip, clean and fresh thermal paste.
Controller stick drift
The character moves on its own, or the stick does not centre. Includes Joy-Con drift.
Charging port - handhelds
Switch, Steam Deck and other handhelds that will not charge or only charge at an angle.
Handheld screen
Cracked or dead screen on a Switch, Switch Lite or Steam Deck.
Storage upgrade or failure
Bigger drive fitted, or a console that has stopped seeing its own storage.
Liquid damage
Spills and floods. Full teardown, ultrasonic clean and board inspection.

We pick up, deliver and do at-home repairs within 20 miles of the shop.

Diagnosis is always free and we never start a repair without your OK. If you decide not to go ahead after the diagnosis there is no charge — except for water damage, where the diagnostic fee covers the teardown and cleaning work.
